Pam works for Perficient now. I had lunch yesterday 09/10/2009, Thursday with her at CurryUp. She loved the food and the conversation was great. Here are some key words that I jotted down. I need to explore them further:
[WeakLinks] paper that she wrote for PLoP; Mark Federman of Toronto on application of [MarshallMcLuhan]'s thoughts to Scrum; Tetrads a a way of decision making; Grounds; LindaRising mentioned a book called [TwoEarsOfCorn]; I mentioned how our conversation was applicable to [SoftwareDevelopment] and [CurryDevelopment] at the same time; remembered the book that [ChandrahasSampat] mentioned called [TheMarriottWay]; PamRostal mentioned about http://kiva.org , while discussing [MicroLending] and [MicroFinance] ; I mentioned how it was so close to the whole [IncrementalFunding] concepts of projects; I mentioned that the founder of Kiva.org called [PremalShah] is 1 degree away from me and that I am planning to invite him over to talk about it when he is visiting the Twin Cities; Pam and her Church are involved in some form with Kiva's organization; DavidWilliams came up and Pam's and David's work on Autochthony. Pam showed a digital notebook by ACECAD - she says it is very good; something to explore for me; Pam mentioned 60 minute scrum exercises; She talked about [ExtremeConstruction] by [JoeBergin] and hands-on play of Zoo and Zookeeping - I cannot help think about [LukeHohmann] and his games.
Pam works at http://trissential.com ; is interested in [SystemsThinking] ; works work DavidWilliams and DaveWest ; has been past president of http://otug.org ; is actively involed in the Agile movement - especially the http://agile2006.org conference.
