Meet the father of noble laureate! Professor C.V. Ramakrishnan

M.S. University retired teachers association organized a lecture by Professor C.V. Ramakrishnan father of noble laureate Dr.Venkatraman [ Dr.Venkatraman had schooling at Navarachana High School of Baroda and graduated in Physics at M.S.University of Baroda] at the Biochemistry department[[MSU]] on 15th December at 4.00pm.Professor P.J.Patel president of MSURTA introduced the speaker.
Prof.Ramakrishnan briefed about the situation and circumstances that lead his son to get noble prize in chemistry. He explained how the world known universities and institutions extend the research facilities for young scientists to achieve high standard scientific work.He also explained the importance of his sons scientific work on ribosome for human health. Professor Ramakrishnan suggested the need of national level autonomous research institution at the M.S. University which can work in collaboration with the university.
