Cook the rice and let it cool to room temperature (important).
Keep the required ingredients ready. You will have a short length of time to add to the mixture.
Cooking Instructions
Take oil in kadai. Heat oil on medium heat. Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds,and dals,groundnuts, turmeric powder, greenchilies,khadi leaves. Saute until golden brown (take care not to burn/char )
Add this vaghar (sauteed mixture) to the rice.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Ready to serve!

Serve with curd or raita.
Notes
Make sure the sauteed mixture does not burn or char.
Make sure the rice is fluffy and not sticky. Use plenty of water (add a teaspoon of oil so grains separate). Once cooked, spread the grains out and cool it down to room temperature
Use plenty of lemon juice. Make sure you take out the seeds and you do not let the lemon flesh in - only the juice.
